We offer a large choice of different programs, from standard courses to tailor-made individual lessons. people from all over the world come here to learn the language, the culture and the italian way of life. we are located in Verona, one of the most romantic and interesting Italian cities; the weather is fabulous and the sea, the mountains and beautiful Lake Garda are only a few kilometres away.

ITALIAN LESSONS

Grammar and conversation.

These lessons focus on the development of communicative abilities, both oral and written. several subjects are dealt with during the lessons, such as:

• grammar (morphology, syntax, spelling and phonetics). everything is taught by means of our communicative approach.

• daily situations you may find yourself in during your stay in italy, such as meeting people, phone calls, reservations, etc.

• vocabulary and idiomatic expressions

• learning to choose the appropriate style and register

• cultural factors such as the meaning of words in particular contexts; gestures, body language and all the other forms of non-verbal communication that can play a role during a conversation

• use of the language

TEACHING METHODS

The four main skills will be practiced during the course:

Reading, speaking, writing and listening

All these skills must be developed since the first level of linguistic competence, in order for students to reach the ability to understand and communicate in authentic situations. In class, several scenarios will be role-played using realia and authentic material. structures and vocabulary are adapted for the lower levels, gradually becoming more complex and challenging.

OUR TEACHERS ARE NATIVE SPEAKERS

Our teachers are lively people, trained in the inlingua method, motivated and interesting. They always manage to involve students and to keep their level of attention high. They are all graduated native speakers and are competent in both traditional teaching methods and more modern didactic approaches. They use a variety of techniques, ranging from role play and rhythmic exercises to games and quizzes.

DIDACTIC MATERIAL

Our textbooks are constantly updated by the didactic team of inlingua headquarters in Bern. The materials include exercises, homework and simulations. The books are the didactic basis for our students' learning path, but they are integrated with authentic material taken from radio, tv, magazines, newspapers etc. The lessons in our textbooks are structured accordingly to the student's level. At the end of the course, included in the price, every student will receive a certificate of attendance from the school.
